Senior Test Analyst

• 6 Month contract

The successful candidate will be responsible for test planning, scripting and execution through system testing, end to end testing and user acceptance testing on a multi-phased Murex implementation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Serving as Senior Test Analyst, developing test cases from business and functional requirement documents for use during system testing, end to end testing and user acceptance testing.
• Work with SME's to create test scripts and appropriate test data in order to execute the planned test cases.
• Peer reviews of the test team deliverables.
• Raise defects.
• Record test results.
• Liaise with other application teams during end to end testing.
• Liaise with business users to coach them through the user acceptance test phase.

Experience, skills and knowledge: Mandatory

• Proven background in testing on similarly large projects
• Murex Application Experience in testing financial FX, FX Options, or Commodities systems.
• Sound understanding of financial products
• Well-developed team work and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to operate independently and communicate and work effectively with other test

Highly Desirable:

• Experience in message-based integration testing with XML and middleware Adapters
• Experience in UNIX/Linux OS/Oracle database
• Testing Experience with Business Works and/or BO Reporting
